MEDIUM ROAST BLEND

It's no secret that my favorite place on Earth is Grand Marais on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. I usually try to get up there 3-4 times a year but since my employment status changed, I haven't been able to keep to that schedule. It's a place that allows me to mentally "reset" and just slow down. There's just something about the town that draws me in. The first time I visited was after a big snow storm and I recall walking through the town with my camera and getting major "Northern Exposure" vibes - one of my favorite TV shows ever. What really closed the deal was walking into Java Moose, the local coffee shop, for the first time. The warm, cozy atmosphere of a log cabin along with the conversations between customers and long time friends was immediately heart warming. I could go on and on, but what I want to make clear is that it's a place close to my heart and that's hugely beneficial to my mental health.

Consider this a "fundraiser" for my trip up North at the end of February. Proceeds will help me have some spending money while up there. I really debated doing this, and I hope it doesn't seem greedy, but I have been trying really hard to cut back on spending lately and this would make my trip feel less "irresponsible." This time of the year the hotels are cheap, so that's not a big deal - I just want to be able to enjoy some amazing fish and chips at The Fisherman's Daughter and fry bread tacos at Hungry Hippie Tacos without feeling guilty. You can pay what you want for this and DO NOT feel obligated to to pay more than you want - please. Just know that any amount is extremely appreciated.

The blend is a medium "roaster's choice" - what I have on hand. It's all good stuff, and I know most of my customer's taste, so I will take that into consideration when putting together your bags.
