Raro Boda washing station is located in the village of Raro Boda, on the eastern edge of Uraga, a name quickly becoming well known for regional cup quality. This particular site buys from around 700 small scale farmers in the area, each with less than 1 hectare of coffee planted on average. Raro Boda was established in 2018, and they've continued to invest in wet processing equipment in an effort to improve quality and efficiency. They recently replaced all of their fermentation tanks with ceramic material which is much easier to keep clean than cement. Raro Boda coffee is collected from very high altitudes surrounding the station, up to 2250 meters above sea level!
