Tarekech Werasa started her small coffee "estate" back in 1990 just outside the town of Gedeb, within the greater Yirgacheffe region. This is a traditional dry process coffee, meaning the whole coffee cherry is laid to dry on raised beds for upwards of 3 weeks, sometimes more, depending on weather. Her farm sits at 2150 meters above sea level, and was handpicked to Grade 2 standard for dry process coffee.
This super fruity dry processed coffee is pretty spectacular. The dry grounds have hint at apricot, dark berry, and chocolate. The brewed coffee expands on those flavors with strawberry, blueberry, more apricot and sweet dates.
