Brazil Cerrado Mineiro
The Cerrado Mineiro region is rich in coffee history and is the first region in Brazil to receive the protected Designation of Origin status, meaning coffee labelled “Cerrado” has to actually come from Cerrado (similar to the rules protecting Spanish ham or Champagne): "A Designation of Origin is a demarcated territory that produces a product that has unique characteristics that cannot be found anywhere else."
Grown at an altitude of 800-1300 meters at Bom Café, a woman owned and operated farm in Araxa, MG. The hot and humid climate produces a bold, full-bodied coffee with an intense aroma of caramel and nuts along with a gentle citrus acidity and a long-lasting chocolate aftertaste.
Roasted to medium-dark to bring out the bold, caramel and chocolate notes, this is a perfect breakfast coffee that tastes just as good as it cools slightly. And a tip: try this as a cold brew - it's amazing!

Everything was smooth from beginning to end - ordering, shipment, and the taste. Cuckoo Coffee is defintely my go to place for coffee from now on.
