The Alta Vista Farm lies in the foothills of Serra da Mantiqueira, in the Carmo de Minas municipality. This area is known for coffee cultivation, at a relatively high altitude for Brazil, and favorable micro climates for both growing and drying high quality coffee. This is a Yellow Bourbon, a coffee variety thought to have a higher sugar brick count than the red variety, and this coffee definitely presents a good deal of sweetness in the cup, especially when it cools a little.
Flavor notes: Roasted almond and pecan, cocoa, burned caramel, and a hint of apple butter.
Roast level: Medium
