Farmed by the Correo community in Apolo, and is made up of only a few farmers. Don Ricardo, and his family lead the coffee growing operation in Correo. In this community, the farmers make and keep their own money, as opposed to living communally like other Apolo communities. Don Ricardo and his family had some of the highest scoring coffee in all of Apolo, and were some of the first to grow in this entire region. This region has high elevation with hot days and cool nights. This allows the walls of the coffee seed to stabilize and lock in flavor, sweetness, and acidity as the fruit matures.
Flavor notes: Chocolate aromas that carry into the flavor, with mild notes of clean citrus. Heavy body, with a tangerine acidity and a sweet caramel finish.
