Harrar is known as "the coffee of kings," grown in the original coffee country, Ethiopia, and dried naturally on the trees. Its namesake, the walled city of Harrar has a population of 200,000, and is part of a key trade route. Harrar is the eastern-most growing region in Ethiopia and it produces a very distinctive wild-varietal of Arabica coffee. There's definitely a wildness to this one: spicy, fruity, flowery, and very complex!

Cherry, dark chocolate, and dried fruit. Kinda wild and earthy with an excellent balance of fruity acidity and rich chocolate as the cup cools. So good!
